YL's Choc Chips Banana Muffins



I bought some bananas from the local market yesterday and was craving for banana choc muffins~ So, after hubby & I came back from supper in KFC, I made these "smell-like-heaven" muffins.... yummmy!!!!

These muffins taste great for breakfast & tea time. It is moist and the sweetness is just nice~ from the bananas itself & the choc chips.

Ingredients for Choc Chips Banana Muffins:
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Makes 12

2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup brown sugar (you may reduce to 1/3 cup if you are using very ripe bananas)
1 cup mashed ripe bananas (2 large or 5 small) mash bananas with a fork
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 egg
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/3 cup milk
1/4 cup choc chips

Method:
1) Preheat oven at 180degreeC (350F). Place muffin cups or grease muffin pans with some melted butter.
2) Sift flour and baking powder in a big bowl.
3) Mix sugar, bananas, egg, butter, vanilla essence & milk to a medium bowl. Mix well.
4)Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients and pour in banana mixture. Stir till well combined. Add in choc chips. Do not overmix.
5) Spoon batter into muffin pans (fill about 3/4).
6) Bake for 20-25 minutes. Test with a skewer.
7) Remove from oven. Let muffins cool on rack.
8) Once cool, remove muffins from pan.
7) Serve =)
